Diego Barroilhet
Organizational Change Consultant
Partner in Adapsys Consulting
I am not someone who boasts about himself. I find it difficult to market myself—not out of a misplaced sense of humility, but rather because of the language of marketing, where showcasing attributes is meant to drive sales.
That being said, I truly enjoy selling the consulting work we do because I love what I do. I genuinely believe we change companies and transform the lives of executives in a way that is personal, deeply involved, and hardly reducible to an hourly rate.
This page tells a bit about me, serving as a business card for the www and a reference point for initial information.
I am a partner at Adapsys (adapsysgroup.com) in the United States, and we have spent years striving for a better world and helping companies evolve.
(This is NOT about Change Management)
Deep Convictions
I've dedicated half of my professional life to culture and change. Along this journey, I discovered the profound impact values have on us as individuals. They possess the power to propel us forward or keep us stagnant. Influential figures like Aristotle, Ed Shein, Ronald Heifetz and Marty Linsky played a role in shaping my understanding. Experience with all sorts of companies in different industriyes made the rest, empowering me to navigate change and culture effectively.
In the core of organizational challenges
In the consultancy firm where I am a partner, we have been working on change, culture, and leadership for 15 years. Fifteen years ago, they were considered HR topics, and the C-level executives were only focused on "the business". That reality is long gone. After years of strategies that don't yield results, ideas that end up in folders, and the digital explosion that democratized technical knowledge, and the imperative of a Sustainable world, the management world realized that change, culture, and leadership are not just a part of the game. They are the game.
Proven Strategies for Success
With a team of first-class professionals, including alumni from the world's top universities, and others who have taken less traditional paths such as actors or advertisers, we have developed methodologies and processes to help individuals and companies address adaptive changes. I am straightforward about this. The work of change is akin to that of a physiotherapist, not a surgeon. I have to help you with your muscle structure. I assist, but you have to do the work yourself; otherwise, there will be no change in you.

What We Do
Culture Change
Finally, whether big or small, every true change entails a cultural transformation. This implies altering something within our minds and hearts. However, there are direct paths to achieve this. It could be facing the need for a new sustaniable operation, a M&A, a shift in strategy, or the appointment of a new CEO. Perhaps what is needed is a change in organizational culture, and that can be accomplished through discipline and innovation.
Strategic Aligmet
A classic. The issue is not the "What" (so don't hire McKinsey). The issue is not the "How" (so don't contact Bain). The issue is not the "When" (so don't opt for BCG). The issue is US. We simply can't seem to reach an agreement. We claim to agree, but there is some evasiveness occurring somehow, and nothing substantial is happening.
Teams
You have participated in dozens of team-building activities, holding hands and engaging in outdoor activities, but it seems that nothing really changes. Perhaps it's because we never truly connect what we do in these "team buildings" with our everyday, tangible business problems.
